I have experienced an itch inside my urethra for ab. a year. The itch also spread to the head of my penis. The doctor said it's nothig to worry, but unfortunately the itch comes back approx. once a month and lasts for weeks. So far I have treated it with antifungal cream. The itch after a while goes away, though it's hard to tell whether it's because of the untifungal cream.
The itch is annoying, particularly inside the urethra, at the level of the head of my penis. I ran STD tests and there wasn't anything there. Years ago I tested positive for genitale herpes, though so far I never had an outbreak. Could this itch be related to that? There are no blisters or cuts. The skin of the head of my penis is a bid red, but that is also because sometimes I scratch because of the itch. Any suggestions?
