I'm an 18 year old female who, only recently (the past three days), has been experiencing extreme pain while urinating. I constantly feel like I have to urinate, and when I go, the pain does not start right away. It only occurs towards the end, and it does not feel like a burning/stinging sensation. It feels like my clitoris becomes extremely swollen, and that's where the pain is located - it is almost like a dull stabbing pain. The pain starts out small, but becomes very painful very quickly. Once the pain occurs, I generally cannot urinate anymore, but a dull pain persists, even an hour later. My urine is kind of cloudy, but a normal color yellow. The urge the urinate does not go away - for the most part, I have it all day, and it feels as if I have not completely voided. Also, last night, it interrupted my sleep - when I got up and went to the bathroom, I was pretty sure I saw a couple drops of blood. I also just got off my period about 4 or 5 days ago. Because it does not burn and it feels like my clitoris is in pain, I assumed it was not a UTI.

I tried to be as inclusive as possible - I'm not sure what other information would be helpful. Any ideas?
