How long before UTI turns into Kidney infection?

  • It probably depends on your body! But listen, don't mess with it! Go get your UTI treated! If you have them alot let your Dr know and demand a VCUG and ultrasound to test for reflux. Reflux will damage your kidney if not treated and infect kidneys as well. My daughter is having her right kidney removed soon as she was not properly diagnosed at birth and is almost 9 now with reflux (where urine backs up into kidney). So it doesnt take long to permantly damage a kidney!
