I've had some sort of urinary tract infection for over 6 weeks now. The main symptom is a constant need to urinate which is only relieved for a short time after I've been to the toilet. I've tried different antibiotics, but all to no avail. I've now been prescribed the drug Levoflaxacin, along with two other drugs. I looked up Levofloxacin online and was very disturbed by the potential side effects. The doctor didn't ask me any questions to ascertain my suitability for the drug, and now I'm more than a little concerned. I'm currently living in Vietnam, and one website said that Levoflaxin was contra-indicated in S.E. Asia. Has anyone had any experience with this drug? And why won't this infection go away? Any advice would be most welcome.
