For the past 6 weeks, I have the constant urge to pee, right after I've been. I wouldn't say I pee all day as I usually go about 5-6 times each day. In addition to this, I notice it only happens outside of the house. It'll happen when I'm on my way to work, in meetings or even when I'm catching up with the closest friends. This is strange considering they are my friends and not strangers.
When the urge comes on, its really strong, but there is hardly any urine. I try and hold it in and if I can, it tends to go away in an hour or so. Sometimes it will flare up later on or again the next day. It sometimes worse when I'm walking around for longer than 5 minutes.
I have no UTI infection and my ultrasound of my kidney's and bladder are fine. I also do not have diabetes and no STI's. I'm waiting on the specialist appointment, but have pretty much put it down to anxiety, which I am open too as I have been under stress over the past 2 years off and on.
I am off to seek some counselling as it is really interfering with my daily life and has made the anxiety worse. Has anyone else had the same experience and if so, how did you treat it if it was anxiety? I just want to get on with life.
