My husband has large amounts of blood in his urine, and has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. I would like to know if large amounts of blood in the urine indicate a worse prognosis. I would also like to know the cause of hematuria (blood in the urine). Why would blood be in his urine? When someone has bladder cancer is the bladder lining bleeding for some reason?
I would appreciate any and all feedback.
