I am terrified that I have something wrong with me. For the past few days or so, I have been experiencing bubbles in my urine. I noticed the change andthought nothing of it till I realized it's happening nearly every time I urinate. I googled what it could mean and of course I get stuff back saying it's protein in my urine and that could be the beginning of kidney failure. As far as I can tell, I have no other symptoms. There's no change in my urine color, it's light yellow because I mainly drink water. Only time it's darker is usually in the morning when I first go to the bathroom for the day. I don't wake up in the middle of the night to urinate, as some people have said they do, I have no flank pain....no fever...no loss of appetite, etc. The only thing Im noticing is the bubbles every time I urinate, and we're not talking foam....just little patches of tiny bubbles that form on the surface of my urine. Sometimes there'll be more or less. And I have also noticed that occasionally what feels like "air bubbles" will escape from my urethra (that's what it feels like, anyway) when I'm walking or even when I move in my chair. It's the weirdest feeling I've ever experienced and everyone I've told looks at me like Im nuts when I say that.
I have been scared to take a urine sample to my Dr. for fear that he will tell me there IS protein and my kidneys are failing. I do not have insurance currently and this is stressing me out more than I can begin to tell you. Please help.
