I have noticed that in many cancer forums there has been a thread of misdiagnosis for women with bladder cancer. Often this cancer has been mistreated as a urinary tract infection, even when the tests for infection come back negative. I was misdiagnosed for a year. Often gross hematuria is over looked in women, bladder cancer being considered a "man's disease" and an "older disease". Since all cancers are on the rise, it seems doctors are being careless about this. Tell me your stories about this. thanks, V.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
