The end of my tongue is full of splits. They hurt and some are quite deep. My wife will not kiss me because she says it is gross looking, (cannot really blame her). My dentist says it is fissure tongue, but does not know what causes it or how to stop it. Can anyone offer explainations?

  • You should go see an ear, nose and throat specialist, not a dentist for your splitting tongue. good luck.
