I have just about every sign of hypothyroid with the fatigue, paleness, puffy face and hands, overly sensitive to cold etc etc
I just had my thyroid tested again and the tsh was normal at 1.8 but very low on total t4 and free t4 was .8 on the border low, i found out that i have a nodule on my thyroid and have been checked for hoshimotos, autoimmune thyroid, all these tests and still not a diagnosis on this, if anyone has advice or can relate id appreciate it:confused:

  • Hi I am sorry to here about your thyroid. I have hashimoto's. I was just diagnosed in September. It took the doctors 10 years to finally diagnose me. I was always boarderline but the doctors had said I would grow out of it. All I can give you advice wise, is to be persistant about having that nodule checked out. My sister-in-law to had hypo symptoms, and a nodule but her tsh was normal. She had to have her thyroid removed and found out the nodule was cancer. I don't mean to scare you. If you need advice on any thyroid questions check out thyroidhost.proboards30.com the people there all have thyroid problems, and are soooo helpful. They are willing to help you with any questions you have, and could help you a lot more then I can. Good luck, and I hope to see you overthere.
