For the past few months I have been feeling extremely ill. I had previously had blood taken a few times to monitor elevated tsh levels but this is the highest it has been.
I am a 23 yr old female 5'9'' 120-125 lbs. slim build. I have not had any weight gain. I started to notice symptoms when I developed an extreme intolerance to heat, as a thin person I am always boiling hot, which never used to happen before. I also began having bowel movements 5-6 times a day whereas before 1-2 times was normal for me. I do have extreme fatigue though, when I try to sleep I feel like I have all this excess energy. I have been having an inability to "catch my breath" even though I do cardio 4x a week. Been having bad achy chest pains as well . No hair loss or palpitations. On bcp so menstrual flow is normal aside increased spotting.
All of this confuses me because although my tsh shows signs of hypo I have all the symptoms of hyper. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
