Hi:)
Uptake scan-- DX of 2-toxic nodules right side. Hyperthyroidism symptoms
Since the scan now can feel something on the left side.
Is it possible to have Graves after they find the nodules?
Also have some eye involvment.

  • If you are asking if goiters on your thyroid can occur with Grave's disease, the answer is yes. What is your "eye involvement?" Twitching lids? Blurry/grayed vision? Pain?

  • The thyroid hormones are used by all of the systems in your body. It could be that your thyroid hormone imbalance is causing your eye symptoms. If your general practitioner has been handling testing your thyroid up to this point, you probably should get an endocrinologist to take it from here. You should also concurrently get your eyes checked by an opthalmologist. The opthalmologist might figure out the problem, or might be stumped. It can be hard for your doctors to deterime why you have all of the various odd symptoms while your thyroid is out of control. If you feel you are getting nowhere with local practitioners, the next step would be to get into a major clinic or university hospital where they are more familiar with difficult to diagnose problems.
