I was treated in December of 2005 for hyperthyroid with radioactive iodine. During the course of synthroid treatment I started to experience pressure in my chest. I had a stress test, was tested for acid reflux and anxiety symptoms - everything was negative. Once I reached a stable dose of synthroid, the pressure disappeared. About 8 mos. later I was told that I was again hyperthyroid and my synthroid was lowered. As soon as that happened, the pressure started again. The endo does not think it's related, which is quite frustrating. In addition, my hair is thinning rather rapidly. Any suggestions?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
