I think that I might have thyroid issues. My TSH test has not come back yet. I take medicine for ADD/ADHD which is dexedrine. Dexedrine can cause Hyperthyroidism. When I don't take my medicine I have symptoms of hypothyroidism. Can my TSH level still be found even though I feel that my medicine might counteract my bodies hypothyroidism. Can medicine trick the body to show a false positive?

I have seen and read many studies and internet sites which relate ADD/ADHD and thyroid issues together. They have similar signs.

Does anyone who has thyroid problems have ADD/ADHD?
