Sun exposure fatigue (hypo)

Hello, my first post here.

I'm a fairly fit 47 y/o man with Hashimoto's. I take the combo of Armour and Synthroid and my levels are mid range normal. Generally, I feel OK, with no particular problems.

However, I have an issue with working in the yard in the sun and heat. Even if the weather is fairly mild (70 plus degrees, S. FL). I drink plenty of fluids.

After about 2 hours of mild work (gardening, for example, or riding mower) I get:

1) Massive fatigue that lasts all day
2) Low blood sugar that's very difficult to bring up (I'm not diabetic)
3) Bloating-water retention, never urinate, can't possibly drink more
4) feeling like I've been posioned

My hashimoto's started after severe adult Mono, for which I was hospitilized. Thyroid dose and medication type does not change or "fix" the problem.

Also, I am salt sensitive and completely retain water if I eat too much salty food. For which the doc prescribed an occasional diuretic. I don't need them often. Unless I'm not careful.

This is a problem as my chosen form of exercise, road cycling, is also subject to the same "issues". I must ride early or late to avoid sun.

Any thoughts???
