I had testing done because I felt dizzy, my tongue felt funny, I felt weak, and famished at times, Im nauseated at times, I run a low grade fever, I have what appears to be hot flashes also.

My sugar (I was told) came back high, last week.

I was retested (I guess for diabetes) and the diabetes results came back negative.

I told the nurse, from my doctors office, that I get all these symptoms....why would I if something werent going on? She asked what my symptoms were..........so I told her. Then she says well maybe I have low sugar at times. Duh, I was tested for high sugar cuz the results said I had high sugar!

I dont get it. I have these symptoms and the results come back negative. I was tested for anemia, thyroid...etc...etc. One of my sisters has Graves Disease and the other Hypothyroidism.

  • Ask for your results and see an endocrinologist. "normal range" isn't always normal for you. You are at high risk for endocrine problems with a family history.
