Hello, I posted a picture of my eye on a different forum a few days ago and someone told me to get my thyroid checked. It made me quite nervous so I googled thyroid/eye problems and I don't have any of the related symptoms. I'm still not sure why the person said what they did, so I figured I should post it here to see what other people have to say. I don't know much about the thyroid, is it something I should look into or be worried about?
Here's the picture for reference:
Also, I know when I googled it, "bulging eyes" eyes came up a lot. In this picture I'm opening my eye wide in order to get a good picture of it, they don't normally look so open.
Any insight or help would be appreciated! :)
