I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid 4 years ago. For two years I was on medicine and I quit taking it because it didnt seem to help. Well for the past 3 months my periods have been irregular. September, I didnt have one. October I had one, but it was really light, then november, I had one it was really light and lasted 9 days and 5 days later I have started again really light like the way youre period is when youre just starting for the month or you are about to be off of it.

Can anyone else please tell me if they experience this. I am really worried.

  • I experienced more frequent and longer (but lighter for most days, as you described) for the past six months. I thought it was menopause, but I am recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.
