I have been having the following symptoms for a while now and just been dealing with them in various ways but they seem to be getting slightly worse, after digging around a bit i have started suspecting it could be an underactive thyroid, the symptoms are:-
Cold hands and feet, especially the feet
Really dry skin on the face.
Not much colour in my face i.e. pale skin.
Tend to put weight on more in the face than anywhere else.
Low sex drive.
Anxiety/Nervousness (just in general when there is nothing to be worried about)
Slight depression.
Trouble concentrating, occasional brain fog
Heart palpitations
Just generally feeling pretty rubbish all together.
Have difficulty drifting off to sleep and touble waking up in the mornings.
Quite tired a lot of the time.
Shakey, especially after lifting weights or not eating for a few hours.
Recently I have had a blood presure test and they have found blood pressure to be low as well as my heart rate.
Not sure if they are all related or something completely different, such as I am not sure is anxiety or heart palpitations is a symptom of an underactive thyroid?
I have done some pretty extreme dieting in the past bordering on eating disorder so was thinking this could have messed up my thyroid, I eat fine now and haven't dieted in a long time.
