I was dx'd with hashimotos in 2002, with adrenal insufficiency in 2007, and I'm currently taking armour and isocort. I just read about sheehans syndrome which is caused by hemmorging during twin birth which can cut off blood supply to pituitary and cause its partial or complete death!! It says that symptoms can develop very gradually and mine took around 15 years to show and coincided with menopause. It hasn't been confirmed yet but I'm almost positive this is what has caused my hair loss problem. With all the doctors I have been to it's just incredible really that not ONE have ever even suggested or mentioned this. I also diagnosed my own adrenal problem even though it says in the American Medical Journal that no doctor should treat thyroid until the adrenals are checked (and treated if necessary).............
