Hi,
Im 17 years old and I have just been diagnosed with Spondylosis. Are there any long term effects with this condition? What can happen to me if I continue to play football? The doctor said something about my vertebra slipping. What could happen to me if that occurs?

It means one vertebra has overridden the one below. You can still play football with it, since it is a stabile condition. At the most, the football activity will just make it more symptomatic, but will not be dangerous. Good lulck.
