Slipped Disc Sufferer

I am a slipped disc sufferer for the last 4 years or so on my L3 L4 L5

For the past 1 year, my pain had been increasing bit by bit. RIght now, my pain is unbearable. I can't sit for more than 10 minutes without feeling the numbness from my buttock to the calves and my foot! My job is desk bound and it's not helping me much by sitting from 9am - 6pm. I can't quit my job either because I need the money to foot my **** slipped disc medical bills as well! My insurance rejected me citing that it's a pre exisitng condition which is thoroughly ******** so they can cut corners.

I am pretty much left with nothing but to turn to traditional doctors and to continue my physio stretches. However, none of the physio exercises had helped me much. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone here recovered frm slipped disc without surgery?
