I have Ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament(OPLL) in the c2 thru c4 region of my neck. I had Laminoplasty surgery in 12/06 because the opll was causing severe stenosis with spinal cord compression. In 12/07 I had an MRI and learned that the OPLL is growing and already have moderate stenosis in the c2-c4 region. I am having another mri at the end of this month to look at my neck again, and then in mid April I am seeing the Neurosurgeon who did my surgery and a Othopedic Surgeon also to get there opinions. I am wanting to hear from anyone that has experienced OPLL and find out if they had to have surgery, and possibly more than once for this problem.
