Numbness in left leg spinal tumors

MRI shows I have two benign tumors at T9-10. They are in the bone and one at T10 covers most of the disk. I have tingling in the left side where the tumors are and contant light pain or discomfort. It is bearable.
The doctors said nothing could be done.
My last appointment was in July 06. Two weeks ago I started to have numbness on the left side of my left leg above the knee and below the thigh. The numbness comes when I stand for maybe five minutes or so. It feels like I had a shot of novicane in it.
Is this something serious? I cannot see the doctor for several weeks. Has anyone else had a history or symptons like this and what did you do?

  • Cooper, I'm not an expert but have history with osteoarthritis in neck and lower back.. Sounds like something is pressing on the sciatic nerve which is lower down. Check out spinal stenosis, facet disease and spondylosis-might shed some light.
