Why is there numbness, weakness and tingling sensation through the whole one side of the body in case of lumbar spondylosis, when the compression is only in the lumbar region. Shouldn't the symptoms appear just below the point of compression and not through the whole side of the body??

  • I have that and the pain is on the right side of my body, hip and down my leg. It is very painful and just had spinal epidural yesterday and facet blocks to help relieve the pain. It has not worked so far...best of luck
