This happened b4 but just started again last couple nights. I fall asleep but wake up real quick having to take deep breaths. Then I feel like some weird stuff is happening like my blood is leaving my body. I have other physical issues as well. I just want to lay down and sleep in peace. I do have neck and back pain a lot. Help me God!

  • Luckily, there are a variety of essential oils that can help with insomnia.

These include Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Sandalwood, Marjoram, Sweet Basil and Frankincense.

For insomnia caused by stress; ylang ylang, neroli, marjoram and frankincense are great oils to help calm the mind and promote relaxation.

Lavender is one of the best options for sleep deprivation issues and can be simply applied on the temples, wrists and back of the neck before going to bed. 2-3 drops should be an adequate amount initially. If you intend to apply the oils topically, blend the essential oils with a carrier oil such as sweet almond or jojoba oil.

A great bath recipe that helps with insomnia would be:
2 Drops of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
3 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil

Add the essential oils to a warm bath and mix.
Soak for min of 10 minutes in the bath with your eyes closed and take deep breaths.
Hope these tips will serve some use for you. :)
