young girl with eczema!! please help me!!!

hello
im a girl that is 14 years old and have had eczema for about three years. i actually have it on my hands. i live in massachusetts s othe weather in new england is crazy. my doctor told me that heat could make it worse and i got an ointment to use for it but it seems like its not helping. please help me get rid of this irratating condition!!

  • helloim a girl that is 14 years old and have had eczema for about three years. i actually have it on my hands. i live in massachusetts s othe weather in new england is crazy. my doctor told me that heat could make it worse and i got an ointment to use for it but it seems like its not helping. please help me get rid of this irratating condition!! thank you (in advanced)vbaby was originally on this site to deal w/other issues but since i've dealt with eczema since childhood & now with psoriosis in adult years..i think i tried every steroid cream since aprx 1973 my only relief comes from tiamol cream, but the best improvement came when i stopped using reg, soap. i now only use goats milk soap ( not all brands are same, try different ones!) the WORST for me is ivory. i also discovered DAWN (for plastics originally) w/ antibacterial handsoap is the only dish soap i can tolerate ( old derma.dr gave suggestion that its the anti-bac..that helps) i prefer green-apple blossom scent. the problem ,when your exsposed at school/work to irratants/ allergens if thats part cause, so you may need to try for a while, not suggesting this is a miracle but it has helped me! hope it helps you!
