Winklers Disease

Winklers disease is a chondrodermatitis on the ear, basically it's a painful nodule which crusts and hurts like mad.
I've auto diagnosed it myself and now my question is who is best suited to treat it.
Considering that excision is probably the best option, would you recommend a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist?
This is not my photo, but my lesion is almost exactly the same.
