Hope this either helps someone or helps me to have a little moan :)
i went on holiday to Goa in India in November 2009, on return i noticed on the top of my foot i have been bitten by an insect, after the weeks went on the bite mark changed colour size and started spreading with my skin being raised.
It took several gp appoitments for me to be diagnosed with granuloma allure, saying that the bite had triggered something in my immunue system. I tried several different strengh steriod creams but nothing worked, by this time it was also spreadin to my ankle.
I then had a biopsy of my foot and hand where another lesion had developed.
By August this year the lesions have rapidly for no reason taken over my body, there is now not a place on my body that i do not have lesions, they are mildy itchy. and i am so thankfull that it is now winter so i can cover my body up.
I have commenced on PUVA light therapy this week and have also chosen to pay privately for accupuncture as i read a school of thought that states it could help skin coniditions.
I am a 27 yr old female and i find it frustraing that in this day and age no one seems to be able to know why this has developed and why after having it for nearly a year it has decided to spread at such a rapid rate!
