I have had a white patch on the side of my knee and a brown patch on the underside of the top of my leg (same leg) for a few years and, upon the advice of my sister, began applying clotrimazole...she thought it was ringworm. When I do, I feel constriction in my throat as if I can't breathe as easily. The patches have yet to disappear: The white one is hard and seems to emit pus when broken and is broken by spots of brown that appear to be where hair folicles are. The brown one almost looks like a birthmark and it's this one that, when I apply the cream, I feel the respiratory constrictions with most.

  • I was recently diagnosed wit scleroderma morphea, and it sounds like you may have it too..get checked out, if you have the systemic kind it can kill you.
