Last Thursday my kidneys hurt a bit, a sign I knew meant I was perhaps to suffer flu. Well, a day later a minor headache occurred accompanied by a bad mood and slightly elevated temperature. I thought the symptoms would get worse as is usually what happens to me, which then lasts for 2 or 3 days. However, the temperature remained the same ranging from 37 C up to 37.6 C, never going over and falling below only in the morning (before noon). My eyes burned at various "degrees." Sometimes I felt like they would really catch fire, at other times they would just slightly burn...or not at all. The first two days I had some muscle aches. A terrible headache remained throughout the days. I was beginning to worry as the situation remained the same up until yesterday. Yesterday I suddenly felt much better, as if the flu just disappeared, I thought it was just a morning feeling and the symptoms would return in the afternoon, but they didn't, I just began scratching myself. I scratched myself from time to time on my right arm, my back, my face. Then I started scratching myself on my right hand, more and more until it started to burn a fiery red. I poured some cold water over it and it felt like it was burning as ***l, becoming numb, as if all of the temperature had gone into my hand. I took of my shirt and dear God, there was a sight to see: I had red blisters all over my right arm and my back and they were itching as ***l. At times they were small blisters, at other times they were really big patches as if the bumps/blisters had grown into each other. Both my cheeks were red and my face was itching as ***l too. I took a shower immediately which helped immensely. The blisters/bumps got back to normal size and my skin wasn't that red anymore...they remained tho. During the night I could hardly sleep as the itching was killing me. Somewhere in middle of the night the itching of my arms stopped but the itching of my legs started. When I woke up the blisters on my arms were almost entirely gone but red patches remained and my stomach and back was like a map of the world with red markings...and very few blisters. The itching is much less now, my face itching mostly. However, I plan to visit a physician today as I have no idea what it is. I've searched the internet and found millions of stuff that could be possible. The most likely one is Parvovirus (or Fifth Disease), might even be Libela or simply a reaction to the flu or some allergic reaction. Whatever it might be of these already mentioned there is no real cure and they go away in a few days all by themselves. However, there are other possibilities like scabies or even LEUKEMIA which ARE possible!!! I have no idea what to think now...Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
