weird rash

After being in the sun all day, I came home and noticed that I had this weird rash on the back of my right hand. There were tiny (some the size of the dot in the i) red spots on three fingers and spread across my knuckles. I normally wouldn't be concerned (I work outside and come in contact with some funky things) but the area in which I have these red dots is painful. Not the rash itself really, but the joints underneath. It hurts to type this even now. I noticed the pain before I noticed the rash, so I'm pretty sure the two coincide. Any thoughts??

  • Are you taking any medications? Photo sensitivity is a common side effect of some meds and even of some herbal meds that can cause a rash with sun exposure. Check a PDR at your library or surf the net for drug and herbal/sun interactions
