its been about two full weeks now that I've been experiencing intense itching at night, most of the time I wake up a couple of times during the night because I itch so badly. Itching first started on my thighs, then progressed to my groin area (I'm male), under arms, and now near my belly button. I feel like I can itch forever, but intense itching has led to rashes on my thighs and abdomen if I itch for too long. I thought that they might either be itch mites or chigger bites. First I thought they were chigger bites, so I bought a chigger & ant itch cream, applied it to all the little bumps found on my body (about a dozen visible tiny bites). When I first applied the cream I felt a burning sensation, but later that night I would feel the intense itching again. Prior to buying the cream I washed all my clothes and sheets in hot water, and I vacuumed my mattress and pillows to be safe, but nothing seems to help. Recently I got two bites on the foreskin of my penis which has really got me worried now, the bites on my penis however are a little bit larger and have a black dot in the center.

  • Itchy rash usually means some sort of allergy. I wonder if it is from contact with something in your laundry detergent, soap or other. Since it started after the shingles vaccine, I also wonder about some sort of allergy to that, of course. If you really want to knock it out, call your doctor and report this. You can get a prescription to take that will get rid of it. Usually, very itchy rashes that persist require something more than just over the counter antihistamines like Benadryl or even Claritin. ____________________Get Your 24 Hour Yeast Infection Cure Here
