Uncontrollable itching

Bout 3 weeks ago I came back from turkey an itching on my left arm there was no rash but the rest of the family gad an itch there's went after a few days after a week it started to get worse an began to affect my sleep all the creams oilatium shower gel and anti histermines I've been prescribed has just made it worse in the past two weeks it has stayed on my right arm my neck and now my left arm. It mainly starts at night which makes me only have a few hours sleep. When it starts I can't stop it feels like something is nibbling under my skin and won't stop because my doctor doesn't know what he's talking about I'm thinking of getting a hacksaw to sort out this problem
please help I'm going crazy.
