Hi, I am a 21 yr old female. Yesterday morning, there was a sudden appearance of bumps on both corners of my lips. It feels slightly itchy (very tolerable though) and uncomfortable. Before I went to sleep, I put on some vaseline. This morning, the bumps spread the rest of my lips. It's not visible to other people, but I can see the bumps if I look close with a mirror. Also, I do tend to have chapped lips because I don't drink enough water. Please help, I'm a little freaked out.

  • I had something similar and the doctor diagnosed it as Perioral Dermatitis. Perioral just means "around the mouth". Could be an allergic reaction to something you ate or put on your face. I suggest you see a dermatologist as soon as you can.
