Hi, first post. I did do some searching but no luck. I searched on google for "Sensitive skin on the stomach" and it yielded dog food links...lol Granted I know these forums are for WrongDiagnosis but everyone seems so nice I thought I would give it a try.
Okay, so for the past few days I have started getting some tenderness on the skin on my stomach. Its very sensitive and has evolved into moving around my back. It only happens on the left side of my body from belly button to spine between waistline and sternum. My wife said you can definitely see some swelling on that side when compared to the left.
I'm fairly sure this has nothing to do with digestion. I have regular movements that aren't painful. I experience no swelling of the actual stomach or pain there. Its just the skin.
It hurts to sleep anymore. If I just pull my shirt around it annoys like a swollen bruise thats getting pressure. After I apply pressure it doesn't hurt. I accidentally spilled a bit of diet Pepsi onto my stomach and it burned so ferociously I was honestly surprised not to see red marks there.
I'm otherwise fairly healthy. I don't eat the greatest but I'm only like 40lbs overweight. No smoking, drinking or drugs. I'm a 31 year old male. Did a lot of physical work when I was younger so that always kept me "fit" to a degree.
Any help or additional links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Brian :)
