my sister just reacently had a baby and she has reacently got this thing on her leg that bleeds quite a bit when it is touched or rubbed on something she says it doesnt hurt and its about the size of a dime and sticks out like a mole .. what could this be?

  • Tell her to get it checked out. I don't mean to be alarmist, but it sounds like it might be cancerous...

  • my husband had that on his finger for a year before he went in. i dont remember what they called it, but he said he had to cauterise it (burn it). it worked. went away... no problems since.... good luck

  • I had a spot on my lower leg about the size of a pencil eraser. Watched it for a few months, had it taken off but not biopsied. Came back a littler bigger and it became sore and would bleed everytime I touched or bumped it. Had it taken off again, biopsy showed cancerous sweat gland. Very unusual but very treatable/cureable. They say when a sore won't heal and bleeds, to be alarmed and have it checked. Let us know what happens.
