Please help.
I started getting red bumps/spots on my chest and back about a week ago. I first thought it was from the gym, as they were close to where my bra touched my skin. However, two days ago, I woke up in the morning and found 2-3 new spots.
I thought it might be acne, as they don't itch, and I've recently been afflicted by that on my face. However, I visited my doctor yesterday, and she's convinced they're bites of some sort. To be honest, they do look like bites. They are pink, and as they develop and dry out, a red tip appears on them. I have been prescribed flucloxillin (500 mg x 4 for 7 days) as one of them looked infected).
So I slept on the sofa last night in case I have an infestation. But I woke up with more spots in the same area. I feel I might be misdiagnosed. Does anyone have any dermatological insight they could share? This is really worrying me

This is really worrying me I had a similar problem that started 1 1/2 years ago. After 3dermatoligists and 2 family dr. tons of creams and meds. they finally did a biopsy on one of them and it came back as grovers. The Dr. at first said he didnt think it was as Im a healthy women in her early 50"s so he did another biopsy and it came back again as grovers disease. I find that light theropy keeps it in control.
