About 10 years ago it started. Worse the last few years. I have painful areas where the pain is constant, it dosent come and go. If anything lightly bumps me in those areas it feels equal to comeone pushing on a bruise. And the pain will last up to 5 minutes (thats so not normal).
The pain's location: back flanks, outside of lower theighs, inside of lower shins, and upper arms. At any given time, just toughing here HURTS. Hugs and back massages are out of the question. If im just putting on shoes and my arm lightly brushes my inner shins (OUCH!), etc. Anything touches my outer lower theighs and I'll probably start swinging! Geez, even sitting in a chair with sides is difficult cause if the sides touch my tender spots I must grit my teeth in pain till it subsides, minutes later.
Three doctors and no answers. Blood panel tests come up normal though im not sure exactly what was ordered on those tests. I do not believe for one minute its Fibromyalgia. Im not achy. Im not tired. Im in pain (to the touch). I dont have med. insurance and would like to see a dr. but which kind? Neurologist? I dont want to waste anymore money on a dr that looks puzzeled and dosent help. Unlike many other similar posts, the pain is not burning and addtionally, there is no rash or bruise or any apparent sign. Unsure if its related or not but I wake up with numb hands almost every morning. Any insight would be appreciated!!
