shingles and allergy? or bug bites?

It doesn't make sense.

I got the shingles. But one week before (up to now) I started having this bug bites marks on me. So these small red bumbs (exact like when a bug bites you) are showing up around my ankle area, wrist area, elbow area... they appear in both side and go away after a few days (sometimes the bump persist).

Doctor says has nothing to do with the single that I got after this whole bug thing started. But it is weird. I don't think they are insect bites. It is freaking cold in here and there is no insect in the area. Also, I am the only person in the house that get them (selective bitting?)

Not sure if it is an add, but my throath hurts too...

Anyone has an idea if could be something else?

  • i know this is months later, but sounds like flea bites to me. thats where they like to bite, esp. ankles, you can get them with no pets, and in winter too if they so happen to jump on a person/pet coming in and its warmer inside than outside ( believe me i know )
