Hello all,
I am having alot of problems with my scalp itching and burning. The doc. told me that it is stress. I am not sure if that is what it is. I have tried dandruf shampos and lotions, the doc said that I have a good looking scalp. He does not know what is wrong.
I am going back to see him today and maybe go see a Derm. doc. I really dont know if they will be able to help me.
If anyone can help please let me know.
I feel like I am going insane.

  • To have the physician say you have a good looking scalp and then you say it is itching and burning and you feel like your going insane--something is not right. I would see a dermatologist and get a second opinion immediately.

  • Hi Jody, I like you have been suffering with this since last Sept. I do not have dandruff nor eczemza on my scalp. I have seen 4 dermatologists and have used many over the counter and RX products, cortisones, nizoral, expensive herbal products, etc etc. The doc also said my scalp looks good too so I don't know the answer either. i just ordered the electronic itch stopper at www. electronicitchstopper.com. It sounds too good to be true but my doc said an antihistamine type remedy might be good and this device is supposed to block the histamine that ccauses the itch with no side effects. If I find it doesn't help there is a 30 day money back guarantee. I ordererd the larger one because it is suppossed to be more powerful I may be a sucker here but when you have this you will try almost anything. You may want to give this a chance. Will let you know. :D

  • There are a lot of irritating chemicals found in leading hair care products. One hair salon owner had severe eczema on her hands after washing the hair of her clients. She was unable to find shampoo that would clear up her eczema, so she researched and developed her own formulation called "Touch of an Angel". Her clients with itchy scalp and other scalp problems reported amazing results after trying everything on the market. Here's the link, if you're interested:http://www.touch-of-an-angel.com
