Okay, i have had ringlike marks on my skin for years, its been so long that i've ignored it. But they are sometimes itchy and annoying. i read online about a fungus infection called ringworm, but it says that when a part of the skin is infected the hair falls out, but i have one on my arm right now, and my normal arm hair is normal its not falling out, can this be ringworm? i have never gotten it in my scalp so i haven't lost hair or anything. i get them on my arms, legs, chest, and belly. it is just a small circle (kinda looks like a burnt circle) and it itches a little bit (but not always) does anyone know what this might be?

  • I had them when I was a kid - seemed to come every year at the same time. The professionals ruled out ringworm, but never ruled-in anything else. The question is, does it matter to you if you get a quick fix or a systemic solution? My health went to the gutter at one point, and that was when I learned some things about physiology.

  • Look into thyroid related things....my sister had something like that and she also had radiation treatment when she was an infant for adnois(sp) problems. This treatment has caused thyroid cancer in later years.SV
