I wash my face twice a day but could not keep oil from my face and have to wipe it 2-3 times throughout the day in between washes. What are the oral supplements that I may take to reduce facial oil? zinc?
Any particular brand that is recommended?

  • Zinc is good for your skin but I don't believe it can decrease oiliness. Niacinamide (B3) is good for your skin and helps reduce oiliness. I use Source Naturals brand 1500 mg timed release - I take it with zinc, alpha lipoic acid, biotin and I also take a very good probiotic. All of these are very good for oily, acne prone skin. Remember - washing your skin too much or using drying agents can cause more of an imbalance in your skin which only makes it more oily. The key to healthy skin is balance. Also drink lots of water. Good luck.
