My husband has had cellulitis and has been treated for it, but it's been about 2 months now, and even though he's getting better (supposedly), the skin on his shins is a pretty good color of red. He is being treated by a dermatologist who gives him some kind of cream and tells him to put warm cloths around his legs once a day, but she is also telling him to stay off his feet, not to stand too long, I just wonder how long to expect it to take for him to get well. He had been on antibiotics, but the infectious disease guy told him that no further antibiotic treatment is necessary. so what gives? Why is his skin so red for so long?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
