Hello everyone,

I have been to 2 seperate dermatologists to try and get a correct diagnosis on my skin condition. One dermatologist said it was Tinea Versicolor and then the other said i was dermatitis. Neither of which totally removed it. I received some medicine and it only disguises the rash but then it comes back a few days later after use. I even had 2 biopsies taken. I had this condition for about 1.5 years now. It is very uncomfortable and really want this gone :(

It itches, is red, and it is spotted. Its on my lower back mostly, on my arms (not on the underside of the arm), and my neck/and face(alittle bit). These are the only spots that i have this.

Here is a picture of my lower back:

Thank You very much for your input.

  • For any future searchers, i have found a diagnosis. It is called Pityriasis rubra pilaris. Here is some more information on it if anyone is interested:http://dermnetnz.org/scaly/pityriasis-rubra-pilaris.html
