I am 21 and have had strep throat several times growing up.

For several years the back of my throat has been red and irritated looking, even when I am not sick and without any other symptoms. I asked a doctor about it, and he said it was nothing to worry about. A few months ago I developed a small, red rash on one of my armpits and on the edge of my groin. I used hydrocortisone on them, which somewhat works to keep them away, but once I stop applying it they immediately return. This website on scarlet fever has a picture that exactly pinpoints where my rashes are:

I am guessing that these symptoms are related are a long-term product of having gotten strep throat so many times in my life. I would just like some advice on what to do about these symptoms and if they are related.
