I have watched these small, red, warm and itchy bumps form on my skin over the last 1-3 days. They are about the sixe of an australian 5 cent piece (about 1cm in diameter) and can be slightly bigger or smaller. They look and fel like hives byut they are in the most random places and each day i seem to find 2 more. I have about 15 so far and hey itch like a mosquito bite. I thaught they might have been some sort of rash however there is none on my back or chest. Any help?

  • Go to your doctor asap. If you have MRSA (antibiotic-resistant staff infection) you need appropriate treatment immediately. CA (community-acquired) MRSA is becoming more common. Ask about MRSA and if they can culture your wounds. There are some photos on the web so you can get a better idea of what it looks like.

  • I eventualy figured it out. It was an allergic reaction to a plant in my front hedge. I was doing gardening that same weekend.
