Hi all. First time poster, long time lurker.
About two days ago I had a bump form right around the area of my nose. It's directly below my right nostril, pretty much right up against it, and I can feel it at the surface. It makes moving the right side of my nose extremely painful as I can feel a very firm pocket right below my nose, situated to the right of my filcrum. I visited an emergency care doctor (one of those Med Express inpatient checkup clinics that has a Doctor on staff) and he told me that it seems like a blockage of a pore and to put bactrum (sp?) cream on it, which he gave me a prescription for. That's all well and dandy as I have had cysts before (another concern of mine), but I guess the problem I am most concerned with is the swelling of my upper lip. Is there any reason this would be happening? Blockage of blood flow, for example? I searched all over Google and could not find any.
If anyone has had any cysts or anything like this blockage before and/or could just share some insight, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks a lot and have a great day.
