Hi there,im writing to figure out what the cause might be,when i gently press down on my skin i get cracklin popping noises AND i can actually feeling the crackling/popping. I am not experiancing this problem anywhere else on my body EXCEPT in the area that is directly below my temple(top of the side of my jaw)and the ear opening. My husband was able to feel the crackling/popping when he pressed down also. I've never had this kind of issue before and im super stumped not to mention a tad bit freaked out! I must also mention that i've had an absessed tooth that i took antibiotics for about a week ago. Could i have some kind of liquid under my skin, but how did it get there? Anyways sorry about the description of my symptoms,i'm just stumped as to how to best describe it except that it feels as it i'm popping little bubbles under my skin.
Thank you very much ahead of time for any help i may recieve. Have a great evening!

  • Hello! I too get these same symptoms under my skin. Usually its around my eyes/temple/cheek & brow bone/forehead/behind the ear and neck.
I have it right now. That same popping/cracking noise when you press on the skin or drag your finger across the skin. Its hard to describe but like popping MICRO bubble wrap bubbles as you press on or drag your finger across the skin.
My eye is very swollen too and painful to open properly. My eye and skin is a bit swollem like there is fluid in it.
This is not the first time this has happened to me (except my eye has never done this and gone so swollen before!). It happens when I get my hair dyed or bleached.I am wondering if you too have had your hair dyed recently, Brandy? Perhaps we are having an allergic reaction or intolerance to hair dyes or certain chemicals? I cant seem to find anything on the internet about this except for this post which has no answers.
    Hopefully someone can enlighten us.
    Cheers,
    Wendy
