I am 22 years old. I've recently found a painless lump, about 1 x 2 cm, in my armpit. Concerned, I went to the doctors. They did a CBC and my WBC were low, and within those, my lymphocytes were high. (Note: Previously this year I had an unknown illness that devestated my immune system, lowering all WBC. I recovered fully but they never knew what I had) I talked to a hemotologist and he said it was from deodorant. I have not changed deodorants, I have not nicked myself shaving, I've been using deodorant since I was 14.
I feel like my doctor didn't do a thorough examination and just went with the statistics. But I don't understand why, if my pores are clogged and agitated, my lump doesn't hurt. Any suggestions on what I should do? Have you ever had anything like this? I'm concerend I have an auto-immune disease, or on the extreme end, cancer.
